Mary Ann Foglio did her undergraduate and graduate training at the Chemistry Institute at University of Campinas (Unicamp) with a post-doctorate at Institut für Pharmazeutische Biologie der T. U., Braunschweig, Germany. She currently holds a position as full Professor at University of Campinas with experience in development of herbal medicines that meet safety, efficacy, and reproducibility parameter requirements. Presently she has two running clinical trials with herbal formulations for wound healing and dyslipidemia treatment.
