Pablo holds a degree in Chemistry, as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (2019) from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Currently, he is an Assistant Professor I with exclusive dedication at the State University of Pará (UEPA). He is the leader of the Research Group on Aromatic Plants of the Amazon in Pará and the Coordinator of the Laboratory of Natural Products Chemistry (LaQuiProN-UEPA).
His research focuses on natural products chemistry, including the chemical analysis of volatiles through Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry, essential oils, aromas, plant-environment interactions, antioxidant activity, anti-acetylcholinesterase activity, chemometric analysis, chemotaxonomy, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, ethnopharmacology, ethnobotany, and phytochemistry.
