Coordinator of the Drug Discovery Platform at the National Laboratory of Biosciences (LNBio), part of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). She holds a degree in Biological Sciences (2003) and a master’s degree in Biotechnology (2006) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), as well as a Ph.D. in Sciences/Biomolecular Physics (2010) from the University of São Paulo (IFSC-USP). She completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Chemistry at Unicamp (2010-2013), the University of California, San Diego (UCSD, 2012), and the University of Nottingham (2015-2016) in the fields of chemistry, natural products biotechnology, and molecular pharmacology, respectively. Additionally, she has training in Project Management from UCSD (2022).
